Meet the Speakers: Mohamed Wurie Bah

We are delighted to introduce Mohamed Wurie Bah as one of our distinguished speakers for the webinar on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in Sierra Leone. The session, hosted by Strong Girls Evolution in collaboration with partners, will take place on Monday, March 30th, at 7:00 p.m. (Salone time) under the theme “Give to Gain: How Can We Harness the Responsible Use of AI to Advance Gender Equality?”

Mohamed Wurie Bah is a Chevening Scholar and a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where he earned an LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law with Distinction. A specialist in digital governance, he is actively shaping the future of legal practice in Sierra Leone through his startup, Wivo Legal Tech 4 Africa.

Most recently, he partnered with the Law Society to organize the country’s first-ever Legal Tech Summit in October 2025. In collaboration with the Institute for Legal Research and Advocacy for Justice (ILRAJ), he also spearheaded the inaugural AI training for legal practitioners in Sierra Leone.

Wurie continues to lead critical conversations around the Cybercrime Bill and “Digital Legacy,” positioning himself as a leading voice on AI regulation and data privacy across Africa.
